In accordance with the schedule approved by the rector’s order, the final certification of students in the specialty 1-40 01 01 “Information Technology Software” took place at the graduating department of Information Technology and Technology from January 20 to January 31, 2025 in the form of defending diploma projects before the state examination commission.
The commission included representatives of enterprises and organizations of the real sector of the economy, leading specialists in the field of information technology and representatives of the teaching staff in their specialty profile.

157 people were allowed to defend diploma projects in the specialty “Information Technology Software” of shortened training, integrated with secondary specialized education via correspondence courses.

Based on the results of the work, the commission noted that the topics of the diploma projects are relevant and correspond to modern trends in the field of programming and development of information technology. All presented projects were completed at a high engineering level, and the students demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills when defending their diploma projects.

The decision of the commission approved that graduates have sufficient competencies to design computer information systems of various levels of complexity, deserve to be awarded the qualification “software engineer” and are prepared for independent engineering work at the country’s enterprises and in research laboratories.

Among the best, the commission noted projects that have significant practical interest and are ready for implementation in technological processes (recommended for use):

• Project on the topic: “Software package for remote monitoring and control of a programmable logic controller based on the IEC-61131-3 standard” (author Egor Yurievich Brichak).
• Project on the topic: “Automated information system “Digital Department”” (author Gurina Irina Olegovna).
• Project on the topic: “Software for virtual reality glasses for selling furniture” (author Nikita Andreevich Gurman).
• Project on the topic: “Cross-platform social network “VSeti buy”” (author Daniel Ivanovich Kobitsa).
• Project on the topic: “Software and hardware complex for automation of ensuring optimal conditions for growing crops in protected soil” (author Alexey Vladimirovich Kontsevenko).
• Project on the topic: “Software for monitoring and analyzing electroencephalograms” (author Polina Yurievna Narvoish).
• Project on the topic: “Web application for organizing competitions in fire and rescue sports” (author Dmitry Viktorovich Subbot).

It is worth noting that, based on the results of educational activities, Polina Yuryevna Narvoish, a student of the Faculty of Computer Technology, receives a bachelor's degree with honors.
