Scientific Research

Since 2021, the department has been conducting scientific research within the framework of the state budget research topic GB NIR 21–2032: "Mathematical, Algorithmic, Scientific-Methodological, and Information-Communication Support for the Organization of an Adaptive Educational Process for Training Specialists in Higher Education Integrated with Secondary Specialized Education."

Scientific SupervisorA.I. Paramonov – PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Executive ResponsibleO.Yu. Kuntsevich – PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Scientific developments of the IS&T department faculty were included in the "Catalog of Promising Developments and Innovative Proposals – 2022", published following the Congress events of the business contact exchange "Promising Scientific and Technical Developments and Innovative Development of Regions," organized by the RUE "Center for Scientific, Technical and Business Information" of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus:

1. "Comprehensive Support for the Organization of Adaptive Learning Processes";

2. "Multi-purpose Microcontroller System for Monitoring and Control."

Annually, faculty members and students of the department participate in scientific conferences on various aspects of computer and software engineering, and publish scientific papers, including in journals listed by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) and in international scientific publications.

Department staff maintain scientific contacts with research centers, scientists, and specialists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, other universities in Belarus, the Russian Federation, as well as colleagues from other countries.

The IS&T Department holds an annual student scientific conference ("Software and Computer Engineering" section):

2023 – 59th SC IIT BSUIR (abstracts) (collection of articles)

2022 – 58th SC IIT BSUIR (abstracts) (collection of articles)

Responsible for Student Research Work – A.V. Matveev
