Educational work within the competence of the Physics and Mathematics Department is carried out in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and BSUIR for the educational process, and is carried out in accordance with curricula approved by BSUIR.
The Department of Physics and Mathematics is guided by higher education curricula, which are integrated with the curricula of secondary specialized education.
The educational process at the department in each discipline is provided with the necessary educational and methodological materials.
In addition to the six textbooks published with the stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and during the existence of the department, full-time teachers at the RIO BSUIR published 9 teaching aids with the stamp of UMO:

Every year the department hosts a scientific conference of graduate students, undergraduates and students of BSUIR, section “Mathematics and Physics in the Context of Information Technologies”. Under the guidance of department teachers, students and undergraduates prepare and carry out research work, the results of which are reported at the section meeting.
