HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Physical and Mathematical Disciplines (Department of Physics and Mathematics)Institute of Information Technologies BSUIR was founded on September 1, 2010. Lyudmila Iosifovna Maysenya, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor, was appointed head of the department of physical and mathematical sciences. She currently heads the department, being a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (2013), professor. L.I. Maisenya is the author of more than 250 works on problems of approximation theory and problems in mathematics education. Among its publications are 23 books, including 3 monographs, 13 textbooks and teaching aids on the course of higher mathematics, certified by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. Works published in 14 countries.

During the existence of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, the teaching staff also included:
