The Department of Microprocessor Systems and Networks was founded in 1995, is a graduate department and provides retraining classes for evening and correspondence students in the following specialties:
- “Information systems software” (evening and part-time education);
- “Web design and computer graphics” (evening and part-time education);
- “Electronic business” (evening form of education);
- “Protection of personal data” (evening and part-time education).

In addition to academic work, the department conducts research on the state budget topic “Additional education of adults in the field of IT and digitalization within the framework of the University 3.0 concept.” Teachers of the department take part in international and republican scientific conferences.
The department employs 1 doctor of science (professor), 4 candidates of science (associate professor), 6 senior teachers. Teachers of the department are certified specialists in the field of computer networks, virtualization and project management.
