The Institute of Information Technologies of BSUIR invites system administrators and software engineers of organizations to take part in training under the advanced training program “Local Network Administrator”.

Training program:

Section 1. Construction of a LAN. OSI model (2 hours)

• Local network topologies. Network equipment.
• Principles of planning and modeling of local networks.

Section 2. Data transmission in local networks (16 hours)

• OSI and TCP/IP model. Switching. Addressing devices on the network.
• Routing.
• Network address translation.
• IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
• Dividing networks into subnets.
• Virtual local networks.
• Transport layer. TCP and UDP protocols. Ports. Sockets
• Naming nodes. NetBIOS and DNS. Name resolution.

Section 3. Domain administration (8 hours)

• Administration Basics. Group principle.
• Workgroup and domain models. Windows domain. Domain controller.
• Active Directory (AD). Creating a domain. Domain configuration.
• Administration utilities.
• Domain account management. Security policies. User profiles.

Section 4. Automation of administration (2 hours)

• Administration automation.
• MS Windows Server command line. PowerShell cmdlets.

Section 5. Virtual infrastructure (8 hours)

• Personal virtualization tools. Type 2 hypervisor. Creation and configuration of virtual machines.
• Virtual Infrastructure (VI). Enterprise virtualization tools. Type 1 hypervisor.
• Creation and configuration of virtual machines. Virtual infrastructure management.
• Cloud services. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Scaling. Microsoft Azure.

Duration of training:36 teaching hours, classes June 22 – 26, 2026.

Tuition fee: 550.00 rubles.

June 24 (Wed) 9.00 – 16.00 - 8 hours;

June 26 (Fri) 9.00 – 12.00 (4 hours), test.
