Director of IIT BSUIR took part in the work of the SCO

Director of BSUIR Anna Yashchuk took part in the Conference of the SCO Network University (USCO). The project took place the day before in Minsk. The conference was organized within the framework of the 10th meeting of the ministers of education of the SCO member states.

The event brought together the leadership and scientists of universities from seven countries. Among them: BSUIR, BSU, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Patrice Lumumba, Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, Tajik State Pedagogical University Sadriddin Aini.

In turn, IIT Director Anna Yashchuk took part in the “Exact Sciences and High Technologies” section. The specialist made a report on the possibilities of additional education - retraining and advanced training programs. Invited participants to cooperate.

As director Anna Yashchuk said, IIT’s participation in such a large-scale project can expand the capabilities of the institute. After all, this is not only an exchange of experience, new acquaintances, but also new prospects for IIT.

Let us remind you that the Network University was established in 2008 on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The project is aimed at developing integration processes in the field of education, science and technology through joint training, implementation of agreed educational programs, preparatory courses and scientific projects. In total, 125 universities from seven countries are participants in the international consortium. Belarusian universities first joined the USCO in 2025.
