On July 31, 2026, the Institute of Information Technologies of the BSUIR hosted a graduation in the unique retraining specialty “Personal Data Protection”. This event was the result of close cooperation with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Belarus. The graduation of personal data protection specialists is truly a significant event, given the growing importance of digital security and legal requirements in this area.

According toAnna Iosifovna Yashchuk, there are no analogues of this program in the educational services market of Belarus, which makes graduates exclusive specialists. And the implementation of the program became possible thanks to the direct participation of employees of the National Center, who teach and are members of the examination committees.
The representative of the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Belarus wished the graduates successful application of the acquired knowledge in practice, interesting projects, and also expressed the hope that this graduation will be the beginning of a large professional community of data protection experts in Belarus.
