Museum exhibition “Radio nostalgia”
At the Institute of Information Technologies of the BSUIR there is a museum exhibition “Radio Nostalgia”, created to preserve and display materials illustrating the stages of development of radio electronics.
The history of radio electronics began with the discovery of a method for receiving electromagnetic waves in 1895, and today it is used in all spheres of human activity and is developing rapidly. A hundred years ago, even science fiction writers could not imagine the capabilities of modern radio equipment.
The exhibition includes several thematic sections, the largest of which presents household equipment from different eras. In addition, various sections display samples of computer components, radio components, radio measuring and special equipment, as well as literature on radio electronics published at different times. Thanks to these exhibits, the younger generation has the opportunity to fully appreciate the stages and current level of technological progress.
