Each participant works at a separate workstation with a computer with SIMATIC Manager and a training stand with a SIMATIC S7-300 controller.

• Installation and maintenance of S7-300 / S7-400 controllers
• SIMATIC Manager software overview
• Parameterizing modules in HW Config
• Network configuration: MPI, PROFIBUS, PROFINET
• Basics of programming in STEP7
• Absolute addressing and symbol table
• Basic logic instructions
• Numeric commands, timers, counters
• Program blocks and data blocks
• Standard Libraries
• Working with SIMATIC HMI operator panels
• Testing and debugging of programs: Online access, PLCSIM, ForceTable, WatchTable

The acquired knowledge and skills will allow

• design new systems in SIMATIC Manager
• Configure and commission SIMATIC S7-300 / S7-400 systems
• develop and test programs for process control
• carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting using SIMATIC Manager

Upon completion of the course, participants are issued a state-issued certificate of advanced training
