Purpose of the course:from a practical point of view, introduce students to the basics of Java programming. Show what programming is in reality. Provide the student with a solid foundation of practical skills in the basics of programming in Java.

Course duration is 16 weeks. One lesson (3 hours) per week.

Teacher:programmer 20+ years of experience, 15+ years of teaching.

There are no prerequisites for this course.Anyone can enroll in the course, even those with zero programming knowledge.

What is studied on the course?The course teaches the fundamentals of programming in Java. Everything is told from the perspective of a beginner who has no knowledge of IT.

What will the student be able to do after the course?After the course, the student will be able to independently create, run and test simple programs consisting of 5 - 10 classes. The student will also master the syntax of the Java programming language, OOP, basic data structures (List, Set, Map), inheritance, learn how to create automatic tests, gain the basics of functional programming (Stream API), as well as practical knowledge of multithreading.
