About the program

The Institute of Information Technologies of BSUIR provides training under the MTCN training program.
MikroTik is a Latvian manufacturer of network equipment. The company develops and sells wired network equipment
(routers, network switches, access points, as well as software - operating systems and support software.

Who is the training suitable for: network and system administrators, technical support engineers, MikroTik product sales managers.
Goal: familiarization with the capabilities of MikroTik RouterOS, gaining skills in setting up and troubleshooting network problems.

Training program:
1. Introduction. Network management
1.1. RouterOS and RouterBoard. Basic principles when working with MikroTik equipment
1.2. Protocols ARP, DHCP

2. Subnetting and routing. Wireless networks
2.1. Merging subnets. Basic concepts and overview. Wireless bridges
2.2. Basic routing concepts. Static routing
2.3. Wireless networks

3. Firewall. Quality of service
3.1. Principles of firewall construction and firewall filtering rules in action. NAT protocol
3.2. Traffic management. Simple Queues

4. Tunnels. RouterOS Tools
4.1. Configuring the PPP protocol. Securing your VPN connection
4.2. RouterOS Tools

Classes are conducted by a certified engineer of the Mikrotik Academy on the basis of IIT BSUIR - Andrey Matveev, certificate ACADEMY TRAINER (ACTR0385), MTCNA (1810NA1181), MTCIPv6E (1809IPv6E9699), MTCTCE (1809TCE9531), MTCRE (1509RE072).

Training is conducted in Russian, but there are references to English-language literature.
Place of classes: 7th academic building of BSUIR (Minsk, Kozlova str., 28).
